| Points season winds down at Thunderhill Raceway, 9-20-08
|
With only two points races in the Thunderhill Raceway local classes, the points battle is still up for grabs for two of the three classes. In Super Stocks, National ASA Short Track Series points leader, Cary Stapp has the Super Stock title in the bag, his fifth in Super Stocks. Thunder Stocks points are tight as Joey Tschoerner holds a slim 33 points lead over past champion Gary Chancellor. Homer Pitner leads Team Aramendia in Grand Stocks, with James Aramendia 62 markers back, and Carolyn Aramendia another 11 points behind brother-in-law, James.

| DAYTONA BEACH, FL (Wednesday, June 18, 2008) – The opportunity to become the inaugural ASA Member Track National Champion and the opportunity to have a test session behind the wheel of a Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota is on the mind of many drivers across the 30 ASA Member Tracks in the United States. But for the two leaders in the East and West Region, each takes their season one race at a time.
